The costume has a one-piece mask that covers the front of the face with an elastic string at the back. The clear part is very clear and has one of the better visors for a Halloween costume. People report that they can easily see through the mask.
The costume seems to run a little small so you might want to size up. As well the quality is not great but for the price, it is still acceptable.
The material is just a bit thicker and more sturdy than most children’s Halloween costumes you will find The printed design on the front does not carry over to the back. The orange around the knees wraps around a little bit, but for the most part, the back of the costume is all gray with just the cape attached. The back closes with a couple of small pieces of velcro. The mask is very cute and feels sturdier than most, but it is just a front mask and not a full-on helmet.
